Bonus with or without wagering requirements
To make things a little more complex, there are also two different ways bonus money is handled; both are used to play with but one can be converted to withdrawable cash if certain requirements are met. Bonus money with wagering requirements – can be withdrawn, but not immediately
The most common type of bonus money comes with a wagering requirement - whether it's received as winnings from free spins, via a deposit match, or in some other way - and once that's met, you can transfer it to your bank account if you so choose. A turnover requirement is a safety valve that guarantees that a casino does not go bankrupt. If you could claim a certain amount of bonus money and then immediately withdraw it, the casino would be broke in no time. Play-through requirement is another word for wagering requirement and this gives the casino a fair chance to recover some or all of the amount dealt.
